The AHRC Heritage Priority Area Leadership Fellowship (PALF) project, led by Rodney Harrison, Professor of Heritage Studies at University College London, ran from January 2017 to December 2020 and worked with the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the heritage research community, and heritage partner organisations, to draw together and stimulate the development of a wide range of research to address a number of priority themes.

Rodney’s work on the project will continue in 2021 to finalise its last activity on Reimagining Museums for Climate Action – an initiative which includes an international design competition, exhibition (to be hosted at the Glasgow Science Centre in advance and at the time of COP26), research and other activities which aim to explore the potential for museums to catalyse meaningful climate action. This initiative is carried out in partnership with Colin Sterling (University of Amsterdam), Henry McGhie (Curating Tomorrow) and Emma Woodham and colleagues (Glasgow Science Centre).

This website acts as an archive of the Heritage PALF project’s events, research and outputs.
